I recently had to opportunity to take part in the 2009 South by South West music festival. SXSW is one of the largest music festivals in the world. Thousands of artists, groups and supporters of various music types migrate to Austin each spring to take part. The Hip-Hop aspect of the 2009 festival was the largest its ever been. Below is a link to photo documentation of some of the Hip-Hop happenings that took place as seen by myself.

I had the opportunity earlier this week to document the David Banner concert at the Austin Music Hall. If you haven’t witnessed a David Banner show, and consider yourself a hip-hop/music fan , you really need to. The concert was put together by Austin’s own Rozone Productions. Other acts on the lineup included Bun B, Z-Ro, Austin’s own the C.O.D. and a couple other local artists.

Bun B came to Austin yesterday, May 21, following his Trill II album release date just one day prior. He was in town for both an in store autograph signing at Music Mania in the afternoon and for his performance at Emo’s later in the evening. The show was great and Emo’s was full with supporters
